Apostolic Gathering at Pub

June 01, 2012

Yesterday, Aina & Jan-Aage Torp invited to an apostolic gathering at Grei Kafe in Oslo where nine apostolic leaders met together with the American minister Paul Costa, who is an acquaintance of Jan-Aage since 2002.

[VID 1]Apostolic Gathering at PubThe gathering was held in the innermost room at the historic cafetaria which was built in 1837 and is the oldest eating place in the capital city, which is now owned and operated by the Pakistani Muhammad who serves street people, Norwegian alcoholics, and Bulgarian and other prostitutes.

- We chose this place because we have a calling unto the down-and-outers of Oslo, says Jan-Aage who as far back as 2002 initiated and hosted the first gathering for apostles in Europe at the prestigious Hotel Norge at Høsbjør in Hedmark. - I got the mandate at that time from Dr. C. Peter Wagner, and we gathered 30 apostles and prophets from 22 European nations.

- After many years I am ready to take on this mandate again, says Jan-Aage, who is still on sick-leave after his near-death-experience in February 2011. - The apostolic movement is knocked down in all of Europe, but Aina & I believe that the time is right to gather apostolic leaders in Europe again, after my own problems for the past six-seven years had stopped the development.

Among the participants were Reidar Paulsen from Bergen and Karl-Axel Mentzoni from Fredrikstad, who both participated in the first Europe gathering in 2002, along with Jan-Aage Torp.

- We are going to have a gathering of apostolic leaders from Northern Europe in January 2013 here in Oslo, and then we will take one step at a time, says Jan-Aage Torp.
